FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

Clear answers to common questions about LiveSitter, privacy, and deployment.

Privacy & Data Protection

No. Video is processed on the device and immediately discarded. Nothing is recorded, stored, or live streamed.

We don't store video, allow live streaming, or use facial recognition. That significantly reduces privacy and breach risks.

No. We do not monitor teacher behavior. The system only detects coverage gaps to support student safety.

How It's Different

Traditional cameras record video. LiveSitter analyzes activity in real time and sends safety alerts without storing footage. There's no need to monitor a live feed to stay proactive.

Cameras record. LiveSitter alerts. Instead of reviewing footage after something happens, you're notified while something is happening. It's designed for prevention - not playback.

They help but they depend on human judgment and timing. LiveSitter doesn't rely on someone remembering to radio in. It triggers alerts based on preset safety rules.

Alerts & Real-World Use

No. Alerts focus only on meaningful coverage gaps. During pilot, the system is calibrated to your environment to reduce noise.

No. It's a backup safety layer - not a replacement for supervision. Like a smoke detector, it supports staff when unexpected situations happen.

Practical & Operational

LiveSitter achieves high accuracy in typical classroom environments. During your pilot, we calibrate for your specific room layouts. Most customers see 95%+ accuracy after initial calibration.

LiveSitter is not a traditional camera system. Because no video is stored or streamed, it may align better with privacy-focused policies - though corporate approval may still be required.
